Return and Refund Policy for My Wine Cooler World

Quick Returns Guide

  • You have 7 days from delivery to request a return
  • Returns requested within 7 days qualify for a full refund, minus applicable fees
  • Requests  made between 8-14 days will be eligible for store credit
  • Return requests will not be accepted after 14 days
  • Summit brand items are non-returnable

How to Initiate a Return
• Email us at info@mywinecoolerworld.com with:
  - Your order number in the subject line
  - A clear explanation of why you are returning the item
  - Photos showing all angles of the unit
  - Close-up images of any damage or issues
  - Your contact details

What Constitutes Good Return Documentation
•Well-lit, clear photographs
• Close-up shots highlighting any damage
• Images showing model and serial numbers
• Pictures of the original packaging
• Videos capturing any operational problems

Our Response Process
• Initial response within 1 business day
• Complete review of your request within 2-3 business days
• Detailed return instructions provided if your return is approved, including an RMA number for tracking

Understanding Your Return Costs
Restocking Fee (25% of the original purchase price):
  - Applies to all non-defective returns, even if the unit is unused
  - Example: A $1000 purchase will incur a $250 fee
Shipping Costs:
  - Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility (must use an insured, trackable service)
  - If free shipping was offered on the original order, that cost (for example, $180) will be deducted from your refund, on top of the restocking fee

Damaged Product Protocol
At Delivery:
  - Inspect the product immediately
  - Note any damage, even if minor
  - If damage is present, ask the driver to document it on the delivery paperwork, and do not sign or take possession of the item.  Contact our customer service immediately.

• Documentation Required:
  - Photos of external box damage
     - Images of internal packaging
  - Pictures of any damage to the unit
  - Delivery receipt noting the damage, including driver’s name and truck number


• Time Frames:

        - Initial inspection with the driver: within 15 minutes
  - Detailed inspection: within 24 hours
  - Contact support: within 24 hours
  - Submit photos: within 3 days

Cancellation Policy
Within 24 Hours:
  - Free cancellation with a full refund, no questions asked
24-48 Hours:
  - Cancellation subject to order status; may incur fees and require manager approval
After 48 Hours:
  - Cancellation will follow our standard return policy with full fees applied
  - No exceptions for orders already in transit

Refund Process Explained
Inspection Criteria:
  - Completeness of the unit and its original packaging
  - Functionality and cosmetic condition
  - Verification of all documentation
Timeline:
  - Inspection: 3-5 business days
  - Processing: 2-3 business days
  - Bank posting: 3-5 business days
  - Total refund process: 7-14 business days
Status Updates:
  - Email confirmation upon receipt of your return
  - Notification of inspection results
  - Confirmation when refund processing begins
  - Final notification once the refund is issued

Important Notes
• Keep the original packaging for all returns
• Unauthorized returns will be refused and will not be refunded
• Manufacturer defects are managed through the warranty process
• The maximum refund amount is equal to the original purchase price
• All returns are subject to inspection
